The Laughing Gas Comedy Improv Theatre Company, South Florida's longest-running improv troupe, will perform to benefit the Miami Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired in a wine tasting event.

The Wine Tasting will be on Thursday, March 31st from 6-8:30pm at the Miami Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired at 601 Southwest 8th Avenue. There is a $20 minimum donation to attend the event and proceeds will go to purchase books in Braille for the Children's Program, Little Lighthouse. The night will feature wonderful wines, Jazz music by Scott Treeman and Jeff & Jeff, as well as a comedic performance by the Laughing Gas Improvisational Comedy Troupe. Tours of the Lighthouse will also be available.

"We're proud to be doing what we can to make this event a success," said Laughing Gas Director Gerald Owens. "We work in a visual medium and can only imagine what it would be like to be without the ability to see. If we can help assist the Lighthouse in their efforts, we will."

This show is part of Laughing Gas' "Improv-ing The Community" effort to improve the community as a whole through their performances and good works. Over the past several months, Laughing Gas has performed shows to "Improv The Vote", Em-ceed a Tsunami benefit, and helped raise money for charities with their "Improv-ing The Community" campaign.
