Laughing Gas to Help MDA Event
The Laughing Gas Comedy Improv Theatre Company, South Florida's longest running professional improv troupe, is assisting the Stars Behind Bars program in Aventura for the MDA Telethon Executive Lock-Up. Scheduled for Tuesday, August 16th, 2005 between 11am and 2:30pm at the Prime Grill Restaurant, the MDA "Stars Behind Bars" looks to raise money to help fight neuromuscular disease.
Laughing Gas continues to be a force for good in South Florida with their Improving the Community program. Laughing Gas actors will serve to help the event by volunteering to help entertain the volunteers and supporters.
"We're just happy to be able to help any way we can," said Gerald Owens. "It's nice to be able to be a part of such a great program."
The program allows local companies to shine by allowing their executives to be sent as "Stars Behind Bars" to a local restaurant where the executives will solicit bail money that will be donated to the charity for their release.
