Laughing Gas Press Release 1/15/2006

Laughing Gas to Present "Valentine's Couple's Therapy" in a Special Valentine's Day Performance at 8pm

The Laughing Gas Comedy Improv Theatre Company will present a special weeknight show to celebrate love in their own unique way in "Valentine's Couple's Therapy" with a special holiday show on Tuesday, February 14th at 8pm at the Main Street Playhouse in Miami Lakes.

Laughing Gas will present 90 minutes of improvised comedy including a special "Couple's Therapy" session, a Valentine's edition of the romantically charged popular improvised Soap Opera, and the Laughing Gas signature piece The Mating Game.

"Valentine's Day is a special evening to spend with that special someone," said Gerald Owens, Director of Laughing Gas. "We're going to cure the rifts between men and women with laughter in a performance that can never be repeated."

In addition to the night of comedy, all audience members will receive Valentine's cards from the Laughing Gas cast. "We love our audiences," said cast member Valerie Zach. "Valentine's Day is our chance to show just how much...with a card. Cards and love are the same thing, right?"

"Valentine's Day always brings back fond memories of elementary school and being rejected in a formal way," said cast member Andrew Sottilare. "Laughing at broken hearts is always a lot of fun, as long as they are not your own." And this night will feature a lot of laughter at others' romance.

Couples who come to the box office and say that they "need couple's therapy" or show their love at the door will receive a 2-for-1 special. "This is our way of trying to help couples over their problems," said cast member Todd Rice. "Most romantic problems start from a lack of money, it's our way of stopping problems at their source!"

Laughing Gas can be seen on Tuesday, February 14th at 8pm in Miami Lakes at the Main Street Playhouse, 6766 Main Street, Miami Lakes. As always, there is no drink minimum and no age restriction to attend. for reservations.
