Laughing Gas Press Release 2/28/2008

Laughing Gas to Present "Less Miserable - More Comedy" with twice the shows on Saturday, March 22nd

The Laughing Gas Comedy Improv Theatre Company will present Less Miserable - More Comedy in honor of the birthday of Andrew Lloyd Webber on Saturday, March 22nd at 9&11pm at the Main Street Playhouse in Miami Lakes.

Anyone who sings a song from any Andrew Lloyd Webber musical (with or without accompanyment) will be less miserable with more comedy by getting their tickets 2-for-1.

"Who doesn't enjoy a good musical," asked cast member Todd Rice. "Without Andrew Lloyd Webber where would we be? I mean, I couldn't live without Miss Saigon, could you?"

While the evening will not likely feature any of his music because the rights are quite expensive, the evening will be filled with comedy from start to finish. The doors open at 8:45pm for the 9pm show, at 10:45pm for the 11pm show.

While Laughing Gas normally performs their shows at 11pm on Friday and Saturday nights, during the month of March the troupe is adding 9pm shows on Saturdays. These shows are part of the sixteenth season for Laughing Gas, South Florida's longest-running professional improv troupe, which is known for its themed shows and top-notch comedy.

Laughing Gas performs regularly on Friday and Saturday nights at 11PM in Miami Lakes at the Main Street Playhouse, 6766 Main Street, Miami Lakes. As always, there is no drink minimum and no age restriction to attend. for reservations.
