Laughing Gas Hoops It Up With "March Madness 2007" March 23-24th
The Laughing Gas Comedy Improv Theatre Company continues their tradition of socially relevant comedy with a send-up of the upcoming NCAA Basketball Tournament road to Atlanta and other events in their shows Friday and Saturday nights March 23rd and 24th at 11pm at the Main Street Playhouse (6766 Main Street, Miami Lakes). "March Madness 2007" presents 90 minutes of fast-paced comedy set to beat the clock and take a few free throws at the expense of college hoops.
Laughing Gas welcomes all University of Miami Hurricanes basketball players, the Hurricane Cheerleaders and the Hurricanettes Dance Team for free for these special shows.
"We hope they'll have something better to do those nights," says cast member Todd Rice. "But if they won't be playing in games, there's nothing more likely to cheer them up than our shows."
Audience members will also be allowed to submit their predictions for the Final Four for a chance to win 2 free tickets to a future Laughing Gas performance.
"We all enjoy the tournament," says Laughing Gas Director Gerald Owens. "But there's also humor in the fact that the entire nation screeches to a halt when everyone watches a bouncing orange ball."
